May was super busy trying to do everything we wanted to before school is out. Some thinge we did were we donated copies of our book, Pound Pals, to the school libraries. We had a book release and signing at Hastings book store. And we planted a Tree of Hope on the Trail de Paris (a dogwood!) so as it grows it will always remind people about our project and continue to educate them to remember to Opt to Adopt, Spay and Neuter, and train their pets before surrendering them to the pound.
We took our EDUCTION to the Paris Art Fair. The wind was AWFUL but our book, Pound Pals, had just been published and we were excited to share it. We had our brochures to pass out but the wind made it difficult to let go of anything! Even the table blew over!
Here we are delivering the magnetic signs to go on the animal shelter trucks. We hope this EDUCATE peole about where the shelter is, tell them the hours, and teach them to spay and neuter!
This part of our group working at CiCi it was really fun and we earned so money to help project H.O.P.E. We busted tables and refilled drinks. It was kind of messy but fun.
This is one of our book club meetings and she was a little too happy and were writing about animals that end up in the pound and find a forever home and were going to publish the book.
This is Project Hope team in front of the Paris animal shelter for a fundraiser to help get more animals adopted, this happened right before the Christmas float in downtown Paris.
The Fundraising Team of Project H.O.P.E. are planing the fundraising of the year. Some of the fundraising ideas are, A night at Cici’s Pizza, A Out Back Potato Lunchen, Jeans for the Teachers, And last but certanly not least The Day of Hope at Lamar County Animal Shelter.
